Use

You use this function to enter the usage for usage-based billing.

You use counters and readings of counters to record usage. When you create a reading, the system checks whether that reading is relevant for billing. If so, the system assigns the reading to an entry in the volume overview and uses it to determine the usage volume.

Recording usage is a prerequisite for calculating the usage volume and for the subsequent billing. For more information, see calculating volumes.

Prerequisites

·        You have configured the Counters in Customizing in accordance with your requirements.
