Update of DataStore Object Data 

Use

Before you can use an DataStore object as a source for other InfoProviders, you have to make sure that the data is of good quality, and that it is active in the system. You have to activate the data and update it in the InfoProvider manually if you did not switch on automatic processing of the request when creating the DataStore object  or during administration. SAP recommends, however, that you only use the automatic subsequent processing option occasionally.

To simplify the process, SAP also recommends you use process chains. Process chains ensure that one process has ended before any subsequent processes are triggered.

Features

When updating the data of a DataStore object in other InfoProviders (DataStore objects as well as InfoCubes), there are two methods: full and delta update. The data transfer process is used to copy the data.
