Trade Promotion Evaluation 
In this process you consolidate current and previous data and analyze it. This data can originate from your company or external sources.
You can implement this process within a trade promotion either:
· Before
In the run-up to a trade promotion, you analyze the profits or results from previous trade promotions. On the basis of this analysis, you can plan subsequent trade promotions.
· After
When a trade promotion is over, you compare the planning data with the actual results. The aim of the evaluation is to get an exact analysis of the success of the trade promotion, so that you can plan future trade promotions even more successfully. You can also check throughout the duration of the trade promotion whether sales volumes and sales expenses are on target. You can adjust the plan if necessary.
