Procedure documentation Saving and Removing Advanced Search Queries Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can save your own search queries from the advanced search so that you can use them again and save time by not having to re-enter all of the search criteria.

You can also easily remove the search queries that you no longer need.

Prerequisites

You are in the Advanced Search area.

·        If you want to save a search query:

You have performed an advanced search and would like to use the same query in future.

·        If you want to remove a search query:

You have already saved a search query and do not want to use it any longer.

Procedure

...

·        To save a query:

                            a.      Enter your search criteria in the advanced search (see Performing an Advanced Search) and select Go.

The system performs your query and displays the results in the result area below.

                            b.      Click the Save Query pushbutton.

The field Save the query in the ‘Show’ dropdown under the name is displayed.

                            c.      Enter a suitable name for the query in the field to the right.

                            d.      To confirm that you want to save the query, click the Save pushbutton.

You can now perform a search in future with this query by selecting it from the Show dropdown list box in the search area.

·        To remove a query that you have saved in the advanced search:

...

                            a.      Click the Remove Query pushbutton.

                            b.      From the dropdown list box next to the Remove the selected query from the Show dropdown field, select the name of the query you want to remove.

                            c.      Click the Remove pushbutton to confirm your selection.

The query is no longer available for selection.
