Function documentation Data Exchange for Sales Transactions: CRM Enterprise– CRM Mobile Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can create sales transactions, that is, quotations or sales orders, on both the mobile client and in CRM Enterprise. You can access your documents at any time and place. You can make changes to them as required, for example in the office, or on a laptop during a customer visit. Sales transactions are exchanged between systems using Structure linkCRM Middleware, so that you are always informed about current quotations and inquiries.

Integration

Documents are transferred to the ERP system for executing logistical follow-on processes like billing or shipping. Transactions are exchanged between systems using Structure linkCRM Middleware.

You can find more information under Data Exchange for Sales Transactions: CRM Online – ERP System.

Prerequisites

·        You have activated the mobile bridge for sales documents when setting up Mobile Sales. There is further information under Structure linkCreating Interfaces for new BDoc Types.

·        You have assigned the necessary subscriptions to the mobile client. You can find more information under Structure linkManaging Subscriptions.

·        Customizing settings are identical in both systems.

Note

Customer settings are downloaded during the initial download onto the mobile client, and they are therefore the same in both systems.

·        The status of a sales transaction, saved in CRM Enterprise must be without errors so that it can be transferred to the mobile client.

Note

Sales transactions with errors can be transferred from the mobile client to CRM Enterprise.

Features

·        Sales transactions are exchanged between CRM Enterprise and the mobile client.

·        Every change made to a transaction is exchanged between systems.

Note

If you want to change sales documents in Mobile Sales that were created with SAP CRM 4.0, and if campaigns are linked to these documents, you have to carry out a segment-wise download of object SALESDOCGEN_OBJECT_WRITE, and then download the segment SALESDOCFLOW_OBJECT.

·        Sales transactions that have already been transferred can be further processed in each system.

The following rules apply when information is exchanged between CRM Enterprise and the mobile client:

·        All data that can be processed on the mobile client is exchanged. This includes:

¡        Items

¡        Business data (sales, shipping and billing-relevant data)

¡        Notes (at header and item level)

·        The following data can only be displayed, and not processed on the mobile client:

¡        Schedule lines

¡        Document flow

¡        Structured products: Structured products are exploded in sales documents in CRM Mobile. Structured products are saved as a main item with subitems during transfer to CRM Enterprise. You can find more information under Structure linkstructured products in sales transactions.

·        In order that a sales document can be transferred from the mobile client to CRM Enterprise, you have to enter the required data in the Details tile and select Complete when creating sales documents. Saving alone is not enough.
