Definition

A behavior profile is a unit within IOITF’s state manager that contains information about how an individual object should respond to an event.

Use

IOITF’s state manager uses a behavior profile to capture (model) the behavior of an individual object belonging to an object family. To accomplish this, it uses generic concepts like state, transition, action, guard condition, entry action and exit action.

Behavior profile is maintained as follows:

From the SAP Implementation Guide, choose  Customer Relationship Management à Master Data  ® Products à Individual Objects à Individual Object Integration Framework (IOITF) à Configure Individual Object Integration Framework’s State Manager

Example

To maintain a behavior profile, you need a name and a description. For example, the High Tech Software Entitlement Demo application uses the following behavior profile:
