Process documentation Assigning Marketing Attributes Sets to Target Group Members Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

You use this process to mass assign marketing attribute sets to members of a target group for a campaign or trade promotion. Each attribute set comprises one or more attributes and the corresponding values for each attribute. For more information, see Structure linkAttributes and Structure linkAttribute Sets.

Assigning attribute sets to the target group members allows you to create marketing profiles of your customers and segment them based on such attributes as their age, region, buying habits, and so on.    

Process Flow

       1.      In the Marketing/Marketing Attribute Templates tile set, on the Profile Templates tile, select New to assign an attribute set you want to base the marketing profile on. You can assign multiple attribute sets to be used in a campaign or trade promotion. For each attribute set, you can enter a description.

       2.      On the Attribute Details tile, select an attribute that belongs to the attribute set and assign a value. You can assign multiple attributes for each attribute set.

       3.      After you have assigned the attribute sets that make up the profile template, choose Generate to see a list of available target groups.

       4.      Choose a target group whose members you want to assign the attribute sets to. The system will assign the attribute sets to each member of the target group if the attribute has not already been assigned.

Note

You can also delete an attribute set for a target group by selecting it on the Profile Templates tile and choosing Delete.
