Procedure documentation Activating Object Classes for Delta Synchronization Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Following an initial data transfer all the defined delta events are automatically activated using the defined RFC connection in the R/3 site. Therefore, no further action is usually required.

Object classes can be activated for the delta synchronization and also for different R/3 back-end RFC destinations or R/3 Systems.

Procedure

  1. From the menu choose Middleware ® Data Exchange ® Delta Load from the R/3 Back-end ® Set Up Delta Load.
  2. A list of object classes with related R/3 back-end RFC destinations appears.

  3. Under Object Class Activation check the object classes and their RFC destination for the R/3 back-end or choose New Entries to create new object classes.
  4. Select the field Inactive only if you want to deactivate an object for the delta download.

  5. To display the events of a selected object class, under Dialog Structure choose Events by Object Class. Events must be activated in the appropriate R/3 back-end system using the associated function modules.
