Staging the Release of Catalog Contents
Use
This function allows you to create new catalog contents for a work area, and to schedule them to be released for publication at a specified time
If you have already released the catalog areas for publication and then make changes, these changes are automatically saved in a work version. You can switch between both versions; however the published version only acts as a view. You can schedule the release of the changed catalog contents for publication at a specific time.
As a result, you avoid parts of catalogs that have either not been fully processed or have not undergone any editorial checks, unintentionally appearing in the Web.

You can stage the release of catalog contents on the following levels:
A working version is generated automatically.
Select the symbol Generate working version, to make changes to a previously released product.
Select Deactivate, to recall a publication and carry out replication once again.
