Retrieving and Editing Log Data 

Definition

The log window appears when you call up the function Display Logs. It consists of a split screen, which can be divided vertically as well as horizontally.

Use

The log window allows you to analyze the log data for the current application. The logs as well as the messages that belong to them can be displayed, printed, exported and sent. These messages can be information messages, warnings, errors or terminations. Each message type can be faded out when it is displayed.

The function Delete Logs allows you to delete all existing log data.

Integration

The log window of the administration console is based on the SAP Application Log. You can find further information about this under Application Log – Guide for end users (BC-SRV-BAL).
