Displaying Web Request Versions 

Use

In the process transaction of CRM Service, processors can access the original request data of a requester directly or can call a version to be displayed from the selection of all processing versions. As such, processors can see the change history of a Web request if necessary.

Integration

The display of web request versions is supported for People-Centic UI and the SAP GUI as follows:

·        The versions can be called in the People-Centric UI from the tab page Request using the button Display Original Version and Display Versions.

·        The versions can be called in the SAP GUI using the Actions Display Original Version and Display Versions.

Prerequisites

User interface SAP GUI:
You must have created an Action profile with the corresponding actions or methods in the Customizing of SAP CRM, under Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Actions ® Actions in the Process.

SAP delivers sample profile PARKING_PERMIT_WSSO that is set up for the sample request SAP_DEMO01.

Features

Each time a Web request is saved – even if no data is changed – the data is entered in the request form as a new Web request version. Existing versions can no longer be changed and can only be called for display purposes. As soon as you call a Web request to change, the request data of the most up-to-date version is called and is saved a new version when you save.

Note that if you work in People-Centic UI, it is not possible to select/display versions if your local work center has a ”Popup-Blocker“ activated in the function of a value blocker. If this is the case, the dialog box for selecting Web request versions is surpressed.
