Completing an External Step 

Use

You use this procedure to change the status of an external step to Completed.

Procedure

       1.      Log on to the CRM server and choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Development ® Development Scenarios ® Middleware Object Navigator (transaction CMWMON).

The Middleware Object Navigator screen appears.

       2.      Select Scenarios from the drop-down list.

       3.      Enter the name of the scenario that contains the external step to be Completed and choose Enter.

The scenario appears in the generic tree.

·         To view the list of existing scenarios, choose .

·         In addition, to select a set of scenarios, you can use the wild card characters asterisk (*) and percentage (%). For example, to select scenario names that start with SMOG, enter smog* and choose Enter.

       4.      Double-click the scenario.

The Scenario Details screen appears.

       5.      Under Plan Steps, choose .

The Model Steps pane appears.

To expand or collapse all the steps, choose  or  respectively.

       6.      Select the required external step.

       7.      Choose .

You are prompted to assign the step to an instance. If you choose Yes, you are prompted to specify the name of the object instance before the step is completed. However, if you choose No, the step is immediately completed.
