Password Maintenance for User Profiles
Use
A user profile contains the User Name and Password and allows you to access the Mobile Sales System or the Mobile Service application.
This function enables you to change the login password you use to login to into the Mobile Sales System or the Mobile Service application. You can change the password at any point of time.
Only one user profile is created for an employee. You cannot create profiles in Mobile Sales System or the Mobile Service application. The system administrator creates profiles using the Admin Console.
Prerequisites
Your system administrator has defined the password expiry while customizing the Mobile Sales System or the Mobile Service application.
This value is defined using the Mobile System Maintenance application. Refer to Choice Fields option in Cross-Component Settings component of the Mobile System Maintenance application.
Activities
To maintain the password,
1. On the navigation bar choose Employees à Settings.
2. Choose the Profiles tile à Change Password pushbutton and enter the new password.
Example
Your system administrator has defined the password expiry as 60 days. In this case, after you use the Mobile Sales System for 60 days, the system prompts you with a message to change your password. You must change the password using this function.
