Editing UME
Properties
We recommend that
you always use the
Config Tool and
edit User Management Engine (UME) properties offline. This prevents user
management data from becoming inconsistent in a running system because of
changes made to UMEproperties.
For some
properties, you can use the
user management
configuration tool. This is a convenient way to select the data source
configuration file, set the security policy, or set the e-mail notification
settings.

Do not edit undocumented properties without consulting SAP Support.
