Use

In this activity, you define the folder templates used to store information on products, business partners, and other such objects within CRM.

This folder template is the directory structure which appears initially before any documents have been assigned to an object.

Procedure

...

       1.      In Customizing, choose: Customer Relationship Management à Basic Functions à Content Management à Define Templates for Folders.

       2.      Choose New entries.

       3.      Enter a name and description for the template.

       4.      Use a right mouse click in the space under Name and choose Create Folder.

       5.      Enter a name and description for the folder and define the document type.

       6.      Choose Save.

       7.      Assign the folder template to the relevant object type. For further information, see Defining Catalog Types.

Note

The document type property of the folder must be defined when you create the folder template. When doing this, you should consider which document types will be used later on in the HTML templates in SAP Internet Sales. These are generally CRM_IMAGE and CRM_THUMB. Note that only the document types specified in Customizing are replicated later on. For more information, see Selecting Document Types.
