To access the individual functions shown in the table, choose Opportunities in the navigation bar, followed by the path.

In each tile set, the Opportunity tile displays an overview of the opportunity for which you require these functions.

Search for an opportunity

® Search

You can search for an opportunity by using the criteria in the Search tile.
You can view the details of an opportunity by choosing the opportunity in the Description column.

Assign competitors

® Competitors

You can change the details of competitors. You can also enter new competitors for the opportunity.

Assign activities

® Activities

You can display associated activities or create a new activity for the opportunity.
You can create activities and assign them to the sales team members. For more information, see

Assign partners to a line item

® Line Item Partners

You can assign partners to each line item of an opportunity. This is performed in the same way as you assign partners for an opportunity.
You can also assign team members and competitors to the line items.

View the line item image

® Line Item Image ® Item Details

You can view the image of the line item. You can also modify details of the line item.

Create milestones

® Milestones

You can create and maintain important milestones (key appointments) for an opportunity. You can also create milestones for each line item assigned to an opportunity. These milestones serve as a reference for the team members of the opportunity.

Create sales documents

® Sales Documents

You can create sales documents in the Sales Document Detail tile.
You can view the sales documents in the All Sales Documents tile.

Assign orders and quotations for the line items

® Create Sales Document

From the Products tile, choose Create Sales Document.

Each order or quotation is sales area dependent.

If the product is valid for the chosen area, the product number, amount, and unit of measure are copied directly to the sales document.
An item is generated in the sales document for every product maintained for an opportunity.
The generated sales document contains the key of the opportunity, so you can track the source of the document.

Attach files to an opportunity

You can attach files such as Microsoft Office files, picture files, audio, and video files.

Create notes for an opportunity

® Notes

You can store additional information about an opportunity.

You should also enter the language and category of the note.

Create notes for a line item

® Line Item Notes

You can create notes for each line item of an opportunity.
