Reports
You can use reports to perform evaluations across the system. Some reports also allow you to carry out certain operations.
The configuration
of the reporting repository dictates which reports are available. A system
administrator carries out the configuration. For more information, see
Reporting
Repository Manager.
You require the following permissions in the reporting repository:
● To display reports, you require read-permission.
● To run reports, you require write-permission.

Before you allow users to run reports, heed the following information:
The system does not run reports using the permissions and services permissions of the user who started the report. Instead, the system uses a service user to run all reports. By default, this service user has all permissions.
In the standard system, you find KM reports in the following roles:
Choose Content Management ® Reports to reach these reports.
Collaboration Consistency Check (see Data Consistency Check for Comments on Folders and Documents)
Choose Content Administration ® KM Content ® Toolbox ® Reports to reach a page from which you can navigate to these reports.
CM Repository File
System Check
Non-Configured CM
Repositories
CM Repository FSDB Synchronization
Choose System Administration ® System Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Content Management ® Related Topics ® CM Repository Reports.
You can either start a report immediately or define a schedule. With a schedule, you can either start a report once at a given time, or start it at regular intervals.
If you set a
schedule, the actual start time depends on the configuration of the report
scheduler task (see
Report Scheduler
Task).
On the start page, click the symbol or name of the report (for example, Link Consistency). A list of reports is displayed. If a report has the type Result, you can click on its name to display a results list.
Above the results list are the parameters used to execute the report.
To display a list of all running reports, go to Content Management ® Reports ® Related Links and choose Running Reports or choose System Administration ® Monitoring ® Knowledge Management ® Running Reports.
You can filter the results list of reports by column content or by entries with the status Errors. You can use the placeholders ? (question mark = exactly one character) and * (asterisk = any number of characters) in the input field.
