Use

Any part of a service or application that is registered in the Security Provider service is displayed under Policy Configurations  ® Components list. You can configure the login module stack that these components use. Such components are referred to as policy configurations. 

Procedure

       1.      In Security Provider service choose Runtime ® Policy Configurations ® Authentication tab.

       2.      Select the policy configuration that contains the login modules you want to manage from the Components list.

       3.      Choose the Switch to edit mode button from the upper left-hand part of the screen.

Add a new login module

...

       1.      Choose Add New.

       2.      The list of available login modules for the component appears.

       3.      Choose the desired login module from the list and choose OK.

Change the login module flag

...

       1.      Select the login module from the list of available login modules. If you want to change the flag of the login module, choose its Flag field in the table.

       2.      Choose one of the flags:

                            a.      OPTIONAL

                            b.      REQUIRED

                            c.      REQUISITE

                            d.      SUFFICIENT

Modify the login module options

...

       1.      Select the login module from the list of login modules and choose Modify.

       2.      In the dialog that appears you can:

                            a.      Change the position of the login module.

The position of the login module shows the order in which the login module is used during authentication.

                            b.      Change the login module flag:

In Flags choose the desired flag of the module. See above for a description of each of the flags.

                            c.      Specify the options for the module in Options.

They are specified in key=value format. The options are separated by a space when there is more than one of them.

If the module must support debugging, the following option is specified: debug=true.

       3.      To apply the new settings choose OK.

Caution

The options of a login module can also be maintained in the user store. If you change these options in the login module stacks, the login module values are kept the same, not the way they were defined for the whole login module stack.

 

Note

All login module configurations are applied only to the current user store.
