Starting a Compare Run 

Use

The DIMa provides a header and a detail compare. In the compare run the compare is performed that you selected for the DIMa instance. You have to start the compare run manually, if you have not selected Start Compare on Wizard Completion in the DIMa Instance Wizard. Furthermore, you can schedule the compare run defining a background job. For more information refer to Starting a Compare Run as a Background Job.

Prerequisites

You have created a DIMa instance.

Procedure

To start a compare run, carry out the following step:

Choose DIMa ® Start Compare or choose Start Compare in the context menu of the DIMa instance.

To start a detail compare run, carry out the following step:

Choose DIMa ® Start Detail Compare or choose Start Detail Compare in the context menu of the DIMa instance.

Result

The compare run is started and the status of the compare run is displayed in the status table. After the compare run has finished the results are displayed in the DIMa tree structure. Here, you can check the results.
