Procedure documentation Creating Partner Functions for Employees: Contact Persons Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the Contact Persons / Sales Team tile set, you can use the Partner Functions tile to create partner functions between an employee and a contact person.

Procedure

  1. Select the contact person for whom you want to create a partner function, using Contact Persons ® Search.
    1. On the Contact Person Search tile, enter the search criteria, and choose Search. The contact person record appears on the Contact Persons tile.
    2. On the Contact Persons tile, mark the selected contact person in the column at the far left.
  1. Access the Contact Persons / Sales Team tile set through the navigation bar by choosing Contact Persons ® Sales Team.

The Partner Functions tile shows employees for whom partner functions already exist for the contact person.

  1. Activate the Partner Functions tile, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  2. The Employee Search dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the search criteria, and choose Search.
  4. On the Employees tile, mark the desired employee, and choose Select.
  5. The dialog box closes, and the employee appears on the Partner Functions tile.

  6. Go to the Role field, and make a selection from the dropdown box.
  7. Note

    The dropdown box displays the available partner functions.

  8. In the Sales Organization field, select the icon at the end of the field.
  9. The Sales Areas dialog box appears.

  10. Select a sales area for the partner function, and choose Select.

The sales area data for the partner function appears in the fields for the Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and Division.

Note

You can modify the sales area data by choosing different entries from the dropdown boxes in the fields for Distribution Channel and Division. When you save your entry, the system checks that the sales area combination that you have selected is valid.

  1. Save your entries.

 

Result

You have created a partner function between an employee and a contact person.
