Data Management

This section provides general information about the master data and transaction data (time series) supported by the Demand Data Foundation (DDF) module in SAP Customer Activity Repository.

Prerequisites

In Customizing (transaction SPRO), you must define the number ranges for Number Range Object Maintenance under Start of the navigation path Cross-Application Components Next navigation step General Application Functions Records and Case Management Basic Settings Unique Indicator Maintain Number Ranges End of the navigation path .

The following table shows the relevant number range objects:

Recommendation

Sanity check: A data validation report is available that you can run prior to modeling and forecasting. It allows you to identify potential issues in the provided input data and rectify them as needed. When you run the report, the system executes modeling and forecasting in simulation mode on the input data and indicates any issues found. For more information, see SAP Note 2161484.
