Object documentationMaster Data

SAP Customer Activity Repository, or more specifically PIPE, acquires POS transaction data from connected point of sale locations (stores) in your business. When the transaction records (TLOGs) are received by PIPE, the engine carries out a number of master data checks to verify that the received data is valid. PIPE also enriches the data received in the TLOGs with master data available in the SAP ERP system.

During master data checking and enrichment, TLOGs are verified against master data that is available to the repository from a source SAP ERP system (either through replication or direct access, when the systems are co-deployed).

The table below lists the master data checks carried out by PIPE along with the SAP ERP tables required to perform the checks.

Note Note

Only the most important SAP ERP tables are referenced in the table. For the complete list of SAP ERP tables used by SAP Customer Activity Repository, refer to the files attached to SAP Note 1897024Information published on SAP site.
