Note
For Number of Transactions
, the value that appears in the KPI tile is derived from a count of the number of instances of unique order channels recorded in an individual transaction. This value usually matches the total number of transactions however there may be instances when a single transaction can be associated with multiple sales channels. For example, a customer might order merchandise online for pick up and payment in the store (web channel), and then add additional items to the transaction once they got to the store (store channel). In such cases the transaction would capture the two sales channels and the count value for that transaction would be 2. This business logic applies only to the value represented in the tile. In the chart representations, the count reflects the actual number of transactions.
