 Analyzing Product Affinity

 

With this feature, you can now identify affinity relationships between products. When considering how to manage products that interact with each other, it is important to understand how an action on one product (such as an offer) affects the sales of another. Understanding these interactions can help make smarter and more profitable decisions. You can now determine such relationships based on transaction log (TLOG) data available in SAP Customer Activity Repository.

To run the affinity analytics, you use the new /DMF/AFFINITY_REPORT report. For more information, prerequisites, and parameters, see the report documentation (transaction SE38). The results are persisted in the new Product Affinities table (/DMF/PROD_AFNTY) in Demand Data Foundation (DDF). You can visualize the results based on the data in DDF or when creating offers in SAP Promotion Management for Retail. For more information, see Analyze Product Affinity.
