The activity audit records information on system changes, for example, who is creating, changing, deleting applications, dimensions, security, and so on.

This report applies to the application set-level.

Features

You can set the following reporting options:

Option

Description

Start Date/Start Time

The start date/time for the query

End Date/End Time

The end date/time for the query

Show activity for

AppSet - Report on activity at the application set level

Show activity kind

The following options are available:

  • All - Report on activity for both user types (Admin and User)

  • Admin - Reports the activity selected in the Show Activity Type field (described below). Admin activity shows both the previous and new values.

  • User - Reports work status changes

Show activity type

The following options are available:

  • All - All activity types

  • Add - Only add activity

  • Change - Only activity that involves changes within the system

  • Delete - Only delete activity

Report from

Active - Report on an active Planning and Consolidation system

The functional tasks are case-sensitive and this field supports wildcards (type in partial text).

Source, Parameter, Field, Previous Value, New Value

These fields are optional and are used for additional information. You would typically use them in reporting, but not for filtering. Source and Parameter are at the audit header record, and Field, Previous Value and New Value are at the detail record.

Activities

To view an activity audit report, choose Launch Planning and Consolidation System Reports from a Getting Started Options action pane, choose Activity Audit Report from the AppSet Reports section of the action pane, and set the appropriate reporting options.

To export the contents of the report to Microsoft Excel, choose Export to Excel at the top of the report.
