Criteria for Opening Steps 
You select the opening criteria when you are defining steps in the template creation interface. For more information, see Defining Steps and Sub-Steps.
There is no opening criteria for the first step of a process. The first step is always open, regardless of how the opening criterion for the step is defined in the BPF template.
When you complete all steps regions in a step, the next step automatically opens regardless of the opening criteria.
