Live Reporting is the web-based reporting and data input option that provides the ability to create reports and input schedules for Planning and Consolidation.

Features

  • You can start from a blank page or edit an existing report or input schedule. You can create grids (that also support data input) and charts. See Building Reports and Charts in Live Reports.

  • From the main Live Reporting page, you can see a list of reports and input schedules that have been built for the current application set and application specified in your current view. You can select a column name to sort the list, or choose a report or input schedule name to open it.

  • You can submit data, add and view comments, refresh the report, and see report information. You can also set the work status. See Comments and Work Status.

  • You can format reports and input schedules by setting a data scale, suppression options, header visibility, column width, and data format. See Format of Live Reports.

  • Depending upon how the report is configured, some dimensions in the current view cannot be changed. For those dimensions, the values are specified in the report definition. The dimension values that are hard coded do not update the current view. The current view uses color coding to indicate the status as shown below:

    • Blue — a dimension that is in the rows, columns, and page keys of the report.

    • Red — a dimension not included in the report definition that is acting only as a filter.
