A BPF instance is defined by the template and the data region in which it is used.
A business user has created at least one instance of the BPF template.
Within managing BPF instances, you can perform the following tasks:
Reset an instance
You can reset BPF instances back to step 1. The system resets the steps and statuses within a business process flow instance so that users must perform the steps again. It does not, however, reset changes made to your data.
Delete an instance
Deleting an instance has no effect on the BPF template.
From the Admin Console, expand Business Process Flows and select a business process flow to manage. Select Manage BPF Instances, then select one of the options.
An administrator can reset or remove a single instance, a set of instances, or all instances. The difference between reset and remove is that, once an instance has been removed, it no longer appears on the business process flow reports
If you want to reset or remove a set of instances, use [ALL] member. For example, to reset all 2009.Q1 data regardless of Category, you can set Time = 2009.Q1 and Category = [ALL].
