Reporting on Security Information
The purpose of the security reports is to show a summary of the users, teams, and profiles that exist for the application set. It does not show any security-related activity (for that purpose, you can use Activity Audit, with the appropriate filters).
To view security reports, you must have the SecurityReport task privilege assigned to you.
Four security reports are available:
By User
This report allows you to see in a grid, the users assigned to the application set, and the teams and profiles to which they are assigned.
You can also obtain a basic security report for your own user ID. From the Planning and Consolidation Launch page, click My Settings in the action pane, then My Security Reports. You can see the equivalent of the detailed By User report for your user ID.
By Team
See a summary of the teams created for the application set, or drill into the details and see the users and profiles assigned to that team.
By Task Profile
The report on task profiles shows you all the task profiles in the system, and for each profile, the individual tasks that have been assigned. The detailed report also shows user and team assignments.
By Member Access Profile
The report on member access profiles shows, by application, all the members assigned to the profile and whether they are for Read, Write, or Deny access. The detailed report also shows user and team assignments.
Note
In each report, you can toggle between the list and the detail report using the LIST/DETAIL link.
To view security reports, choose Launch Planning and Consolidation System Reports from a Getting Started Options action pane. Then, choose Security reports and select the type of report you want to view.
