The upload function allows you to move flat files, such as .txt and .csv files, from your local hard drive to the Data Files folder in the File Service.

There are other options for transferring data in and out of Planning and Consolidation using packages and process chains (see Package Usage and Data Management Process Chains).

Procedure

  1. In the action pane, select Upload data file.

  2. Choose a file to upload.

  3. Choose a location in the Data Files location on the server.
