You can generate reports based on journal entries. These reports, which are Web-based, represent an audit trail of all journal entries.

Features

Planning and Consolidation supports the following types of journal reports:

  • By journal ID – generates a report based on a single journal entry

  • By user(s) – generates a report based on a list of users who have created or posted journal entries

  • By account – generates a report of journal activity by account

Reports are displayed in a browser. You can use the available controls to print or export the report.

Activities

To create a journal report, select Journals from the Getting Started - Interface for Excel action pane. Specify the requested information to open an existing journal, select Report on journals from the Journal Options action pane, then select the type of report you want to create. Enter the request information for the report.
