The Administration modules enable administrators to perform setup and maintenance tasks for Planning and Consolidation applications.

Features

Setup and maintenance tasks for Planning and Consolidation applications fall into two categories: Administration Console tasks and Administration for the Web tasks.

Administration Console Tasks

Administration Console tasks consist of the following:

  • Security management

  • Application set management

  • Application management

  • Dimension management

  • Business rule management

  • Work status setup

  • Journals management

  • Script logic management

Administration for the Web Tasks

The following Administration for the Web tasks allow you to control application set and application properties, and maintain the system using the Interface for the Web:

  • Application set parameter setup

  • Application parameter setup

  • Document type/subtype management

  • Activity audit and data audit management

  • Report Publishing

  • Editing Drill-through tables

  • Setting up journal validation rules

These features are only available in the Microsoft version of the system:

  • Book Management

  • Log management

  • Insight Management
