Totals Placement Locate this document in the navigation structure

By default, totals are displayed:
  • At the bottom on the row axis.
  • On the right side on the column axis.

You can change the totals placement for the current sheet in the General tab of the Sheet Options by using the Totals Placement options. The changes will be taken into account by default for any report in the sheet. You can then modify the totals placement for a specific report in the Options tab of the Report Editor.

If the Top and the Left options are selected, the data is displayed as shown below.



If the Bottom and the Right options are selected, the data is displayed as shown below.



Applies to: SAP BW (INA provider) connections

When using an SAP BW (INA provider) connection, and when you initialize the EPM Add-in, the default value of the Totals Placement is the one defined in the BEx Query Designer, that is the default value takes the position defined in the Position of Lower-Level Nodes of the first dimension of the axis (either Above or Below).

If you change the value for the Totals Placement, this new value will become the default value the next time you log in to the EPM Plug-in.
Note

If you create a New Report, by default in the Report Editor Options tab, the Inherit Sheet Options is selected and the Totals Placement takes the value defined by this option. The placement values can be changed by deselecting the option.
