Accessing Journals

Applies to: Planning and Consolidation connections.

You use journals to record and make adjustments to data in the database. This is typically done as part of the month-end or quarter-end process.

From the EPM tab in Microsoft Office Excel, you can access the Journals view of SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation by clicking Journals. Planning and Consolidation opens in a web browser, displaying the Journals view, and the context for the model to which you are connected is retrieved.
