When a row or a column axis contains several
dimensions (nested dimensions), provided that the Member Recognition is
activated, when entering a member for example in the outer dimension, members
in the inner dimension are automatically entered, as shown in this example.

Auto completion in a nested axis
In the row axis, the outer dimension is Period and
the inner dimension is Currency. You have already entered the following
members:
Now, you enter the Period member 2009. The member is
recognized as an EPM member and the Period members EUR and USD are
automatically entered:
