Calculating Amount Limits Amount limits are applied to the calculated settlement results. The system reads the amount limit conditions of condition category 180000 (amount limits) or 180001 (amount limits with period of use).
You define in the condition type whether the basis for the use of amount limits is to be the totaled or detailed results.
The system totals the detailed settlement results for each condition type and compares them with the amount limits. If an amount limit is used, the amount is replaced by the relevant amount limit.
The amount limits are checked in the following sequence for each condition type:
Amount limits with periods of use
Amount limits without period of use
Amount limits are applied to each account and subperiod (for example, due to a condition group change) of the settlement period. Amount limits with a period of use are also applied for periods of use.
If you set this indicator in the condition type, then the system applies only those amount limits that do not have a period of use to the results of the whole settlement period. This changes the totaled results only, and not the detailed results.
