You can process the extension of a loan using its methods. For more information, see the Methods section of the documentation for Extension.

After processing, the order status of the extension can change. The following combinations of order status, release status and operation to be released describe the possible statuses of an order for an extension during processing.

You identify which operation you can select as a release attribute based on the Operation Relevant For Release indicator, which you have set in Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM) under  Order Management Basic Settings Configure Order Category .

If the Operation Relevant For Release indicator is set, you can define reasons for release that comprise the selected operations as release attributes and result in orders for extension being placed in the release process. To do this, choose  Order Management Account Order Extension Release Assign Release Object to Release Procedure in Customizing.
