Editing Contract Relationships for Participant Cards

Use

On the Contract Relationships tab page, you can assign different cards to an account contract, depending on the settings for the related account product.

Prerequisites

The system runs checks when participants are added. You can configure these checks individually in the product definition for the relevant account product and the participating card products.

  • You use the Participant Cards (BCMC) contract element. You have set the grouping attribute Dependent Cards to green in Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM) by choosing Start of the navigation path Product Management Next navigation step Product Definition Next navigation step Account Products End of the navigation path .

You define the following conditions in the product definition for the relevant account product by choosing Start of the navigation path Dependent Cards Next navigation step Participation Conditions: End of the navigation path

  • The participant contract is based on a card product that is allowed as a participant of the account product.

If the Restriction on Participant Products field does not contain defaults in the product definition, contracts of all products are allowed as participants. Otherwise, you can add only the participant contracts that are based on the defined products.

  • The number of cards to be created per card product has not been exceeded.

  • The number of participants is not less than the minimum number.

  • The maximum number of participants has not been exceeded.

If the minimum and maximum numbers are blank in the product definition (= 0), you can add as many participants as required.

  • If the holders are the same as the new participants, the system displays a warning.

    Note Note

    Note:

You can deactivate some of the checks mentioned.

    End of the note.
  • You have permitted the creation of card contracts in dialog mode for participant card products in Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM) by choosing Start of the navigation path Product Management Next navigation step Product Definition Next navigation step Card Products Next navigation step Permitted Processes Next navigation step Creation of New Card in Dialog Mode.
