Pricing Criteria Update

Events during the life cycle of a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria (such as a master contract termination) can make an update of the pricing criteria for the beneficiary contract necessary. Equally, events in the life cycle of a beneficiary contract (such as an account holder change) can make an update of the pricing criteria necessary.

Features

In the Determination and Distribution of Pricing Criteria component, you can use the following functions to automatically update the contracts involved in the respective scenario.

Scenarios in the Master Contract for the Determination of Pricing Criteria

Update during creation of the master contract for the determination of pricing criteria and change to the pricing criteria.
When you create a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria or change its pricing criteria, the system automatically determines the relevant beneficiary account contracts and master contracts the sets the pricing criteria in all dependent contracts.

Note
If you create or change a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria in the dialog and wish to transfer the pricing criteria to beneficiary contracts in the same logical system, in Customizing for Master Contract Management, you must choose Master Contract Applications Determination of Pricing Criteria Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) and activate the BAdI implementation Implementation: Transfer Changed Pricing Criteria to Internal Systems /FSPAC/BCA_EI_CN_BCPI_PCD_INT.

If you create or change a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria in the dialog and wish to transfer the pricing criteria to beneficiary contracts in external logical systems, in Customizing for Master Contract Management, you must choose Master Contract Applications Determination of Pricing Criteria Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) and create and activate customer-specific implementation for the BAdI definition BAdI: Transfer Changed Pricing Criteria to External Systems BCA_CN_BCPI_PCD_EXT.

Update in the case of a holder or beneficiary change
If you change the holder or pricing beneficiary of the master contract for the determination of pricing criteria, the system automatically updates the pricing criteria of the previous and future beneficiary contracts.

If you make changes via BAPI, you must then execute the RFC /FSPAC/PCP_IN_SET_PRICRIT Set Pricing Criteria.

Update for master contract termination
If you terminate a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria, the system automatically updates the pricing criteria of the former beneficiary contracts.

If you make changes in the dialog, in Customizing for Master Contract Management, you must choose Technical Settings Business Transaction Events / Event Control (FS-AM) Define Own Function Modules (P/S) and implement the function module /FSPAC/SAMPLE_EVENT_0BCA2256 for the Business Transaction Event (BTE) 0BCA2256 for the application component FS-AM.

Scenarios in Beneficiary Contracts

Update during creation of a beneficiary account contract or master contract
When you create a beneficiary account contract or master contract, the system automatically determines the relevant master contract for the determination of pricing criteria and sets the pricing criteria on the beneficiary contract.

If you create the beneficiary contracts in the dialog, in Customizing for Master Contract Management, you must choose Master Contract Applications Pricing Criteria Determined Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) and activate the BAdI implementation Implementation: Determination of Master Contracts for the Determination of Pricing Criteria BCA_EI_CN_BCPS_FND_PAC_BP: (Or in Customizing for Account Management , Product Management Pricing Criteria Determined Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) BAdI: Determination of of the Master Contracts for the Determination of Pricing Criteria .

If you change the holder of a beneficiary account contract, the system automatically updates the pricing criteria.
