Rejecting Explicit Reservations
It can be useful to reject an explicit reservation in the following cases:
The business transaction that triggered the explicit reservation has not been executed, and you are certain that this business transaction is not going to be executed any more.
In this case, an explicit reservation could block another business transaction that you want to execute.
You have already executed the business transaction that generated the explicit reservation. You are certain that utilization data changes are not going to be included in the explicit reservation.
In this case, the explicit reservation should be fully utilized at all times. The deletion of the explicit reservation does not change the utilization of master contracts.
Note
Once the system time has reached the valid-to date and time of an explicit reservation, the system automatically invalidates the explicit reservation and no longer includes it in utilization calculation.
Prerequisites
From the SAP Easy Access screen under Master Contract Management, then 
Facilities
, you have executed the Display Facility
transaction. For more information about this function, see Displaying Master Contract Facilities.
Procedure
You are either on the
Display Hierarchy of a Master Contract and Its Utilization Amounts
screen, or theDisplay Hierarchy of an Account and its Utilization
screen.Depending on the layout setting, the system displays the
Reject Reservation
column.If the system does not display this column, use the
Change Layout
function to add this to the current layout.To reject the explicit reservation of an account in the master contract hierarchy, set the
Reject Reservation
indicator for this explicit reservation, and save the display.The system issues a message. In the message, confirm the rejection of the explicit reservation.
The system removes the explicit reservation for the account. The system now no longer includes the explicit reservation when it calculates the subtotal of the account and the utilization of the corresponding master contract.
Caution
Use this function with caution, and only after considering the possible consequences. If you have rejected an explicit reservation, the corresponding amount is no longer reserved in the facility. This means that other business transactions can now utilize the corresponding global limit.
