Object documentationRelease Object OR_COP (Product Change (Account))

An Account Management (FS-AM) release object used by the system to identify whether the editing of a product change (account) by an author/processor is subject to release. If the editing of the product change is subject to release, the system generates release object OR_COP (product change (account)) as a work item that can be processed further in the Business Workplace by a supervisor or user responsible for release.

For more information about the release process, in other words, how the Account Management (FS-AM) system interacts with the Business Workplace, see the Framework for the Principle of Dual Control (CA-GTF-TS-PDC) documentation.

Customizing

You make the settings for release object OR_COP (product change (account)) and its release attributes in the Account Management (FS-AM) Customizing settings in the following Customizing activities:

Start of the navigation path Order Management Next navigation step Product Change (Account) Next navigation step Release End of the navigation path

  • Assign Release Procedure to Release Object

  • Assign Rule to Release Steps

  • Assign Release Procedure Workflow to the Release Procedure

Channel
  • Dialog

The system checks whether the product change (account) processed in the dialog is subject to release, and generates a work item for every release-relevant product change. If a product change (account) is no longer relevant for release once it has been processed, the related work item is deleted.

  • Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)

The system checks (as for dialog processing) whether a product change (account) processed by BAPIs is subject to release, and generates a work item for every release-relevant product change. If a product change (account) is no longer relevant for release once it has been processed, the related work items are deleted.

    • ProductChange.CreateAndActivate

    • ProductChange.ChangeAndActivate

    • ProductChange.ChangeAndDeactivate

For product change (account) BAPIs, you do not have the option of suppressing the release procedure since the Deactivate Release Workflow parameter is not available.

The product change (account) BAPIs transfer information on whether the created or changed product changes are in the release process in the OrderRelease parameter.

  • Direct Input

Direct input is not implemented for a product change (account). The product change (account) BAPIs realize the external data transfer (EDT) with entry origin and processing origin: BDTCOP Product Change (Account) - BAPI (EDT).
