You can edit an account holder change using its methods. If edited successfully, the order status of the account holder change can change. The following combinations of order status, release status, and operation to be released describe the status of an account holder change while it is being edited in dialog transaction Account Holder Change:

Based on the Release-Relevant Operation checkbox you can see which operation can always be selected as the release attribute. You can see this in Customizing for Start of the navigation path Account ManagementOrder Management Next navigation step Basic Settings Next navigation step Configure Order Category End of the navigation path and double-click Describe Operation in the dialog structure.

If the Release-Relevant Operation checkbox is selected, you can define release reasons in Customizing for Start of the navigation path Account Management Next navigation step Order Management Next navigation step Account Order Next navigation step Account Holder Change Next navigation step Release Next navigation step Assign Release Procedure to Release Object End of the navigation path. These release reasons comprise all operations labeled as relevant for release as release attributes and result in the account holder change orders being forwarded to the release process.
