Procedure documentationEditing Plan Statements

On the Bank Statement tab page, you specify when, for whom, how often, and how plan statements are to be generated. These details are used as control parameters for the generation of the plan statement. (The contract element Bank Statement was reused for the plan statement, therefore the tab page is labeled as such.)

Prerequisites

The Plan Statement is activated as a feature in the product upon which the master contract is based. You have entered the relevant settings in Customizing under Start of the navigation path Product Management Next navigation step Product Definition Next navigation step Master Contract Products Next navigation step Create or Change Master Contract Product End of the navigation path.

You have set the product up so that the master contract can be saved without any additional settings. It contains a minimum of the following data:

  • An active plan statement agreement, where the field for the recipient group is blank for this agreement.

  • The calculation details defined in the product for the calculation of the key run dates, if the Periodic indicator is set for the product.

You have neither deactivated nor locked the Plan Statement feature in the master contract. If there is a lock, or this indicator has been deactivated, you need to change this under Create/Change Master Account on the Features tab page. For more information about features, see the section Editing Features in SAP Library.

You have activated the feature Correspondence Recipient Management for the master contract or for the underlying product, and entered at least one original, or generally different correspondence recipient. You have created the relevant recipient groups in Customizing for Correspondence Recipient Management under Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step Correspondence Recipient Management Next navigation step Create and Assign Recipient Groups End of the navigation path.

Procedure

Creating/Changing Plan Statement Agreements
  1. Choose Create in the Bank Statement Agreement group box. The system creates a new plan statement agreement with the following characteristics:

    • Status: Active

    • (Sequential number of) agreement

  2. Set the Periodic indicator.

All agreements must be periodic in the plan statement. The key date for the next plan statement to be created is automatically determined during the mass run.

The system then displays the Time Periods area in which you must enter the data required for calculating the key date automatically. For more information on the data you need to enter, see Plan Statement Changes to this field are only possible on the day.

  3. Specify a correspondence recipient group as required.

To specify in more detail about to whom, how, and in what form a plan statement is to be sent, enter the relevant recipient group here. For more information, see the section Correspondence Recipient Management in SAP Library.

  4. Choose Save.

    Note Note

You can change a plan statement agreement for any time in the present, future and past.

However, you can do no more than to change the correspondence recipient group and the data for the time periods.

    End of the note.
Deleting/Deactivating a Plan Statement Agreement

You can delete a plan statement agreement as long as you have not saved it. If you have already saved the plan statement agreement, you can now only deactivate it. The symbol in the Status column changes from Active (light is on) to Inactive (light is off). No more plan statements can be created for this agreement.

  1. Select the required plan statement agreement and choose Delete/Deactivate.

  2. Choose Save.

Result

The system saves the plan statement data according to your entries. If your entries are subject to release, another user with release authorization may need to release them before they can take effect. For more information, see the section Release Object CN (Contract) in SAP Library.
