Editing Basic Data 1
On the Basic Data 1
tab page, you can edit and display basic card data in different group boxes. Which data is available, depends on:
System settings in the product Customizing for Account Management
Editing mode (create, change, display)
Settings in the Business Data Toolset (BDT)
The details in the Card Identification
group box inform you about the card you are currently editing. You cannot enter or change any of these details.
Note
Once you have made the security settings for card numbers, it is possible that the card number is displayed here masked. To display the card number unmasked, choose the Display Card Number Unmasked
pushbutton.
In the Card Holder
group box, you can display, and with some restrictions, edit the most important data for the card holder.
In the Payment Details
group box, you can have the data of the bank details displayed and edit the account holder.
In the Status Data
group box, you can display, and with some restrictions, edit the status data of a card.
In the Lock Data
group box, the system displays any existing locks on the card.
In the Correspondence Request
group box, specify whether correspondence is to be output to an external correspondence tool for all changed card data by means of a Business Transaction Event (BTE).
In the Card Identification
group box, check that you are editing the correct card.
Enter the required data.
Note that in the Card Holder
group box, you can change the card holder, but the AM system automatically copies all other data and the role "Card Holder" from the business partner-managing system (standard: SAP Business Partner for Financial Services). Display
takes you to the detail view of the card holder. This data is for your information only. You cannot change it.
In the Payment Details
group box, you must enter an account holder if external payment details are involved. To deactivate the account number check, set the Deactivate Check Digit Calculation
indicator.
In the Correspondence Request
group box, enter a correspondence printer. An input field for the correspondence type then appears.
Save your entries.
