Release Object CONDIND (Individual Conditions)
A release object that is used by the release tool to identify whether the editing of an individual condition is subject to release.
If the editing of the individual condition is subject to release, the system generates a release object CONDIND (Individual Conditions)
as a work item that can be processed in the Business Workplace by a user who is authorized to release the work item.
For more information about the release process, see Framework for the Principle of Dual Control (CA-GTF-TS-PDC).
Dialog processing when you are editing the contract: tab page Editing Financial Conditions
The system checks whether the creation or change of a validity period for an individual condition needs to be released. The system creates a separate release work item for each validity period of an individual condition.
If a validity period has not been released yet, the system groups any other changes that need to be released for the same validity period in the same work item.
Note
Note that if you create a validity period that overlaps the previous one, you restrict the validity of the previous validity period. This triggers an automatic adjustment of the existing validity period.
Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)
In your application, you need to implement the BAPIs needed for processing individual conditions. If the BAPIs in your application provide the Deactivate Release Workflow
parameter, you can deactivate the release.
Note
You cannot use the BAPIs in Account Management
to create or change individual conditions. These BAPIs enable you to suppress the release by selecting the Deactivate Release Workflow
checkbox.
The system checks whether the processing of individual conditions is subject to release, and generates a work item for every action that requires release.
For the business meaning of the individual release attributes, see the input help.
