Editing the Flexible Bundle Pricing Charge Group Box
In the Flexible Bundle Pricing Charge
group box, you edit those fields of a condition that are included in Amount Category 150020 Flexible Bundle Pricing Charge
In this group box you define a condition for Bundle Pricing Calculation. You use this condition for a group of accounts with different bank products and different account holders that are , for example, mapped in a master contract to grant preferential prices for charges. The business activity of the entire group, for example the turnover, determines the charges. In flexible bundle pricing calculation you can calculate the percentage of charges depending on the aggregated values of a turnover class.
To link price determination to certain conditions, you can define a rule which, when applied, results in a debit or credit memo.
You can make the following settings:
In the Condition Form
field, you can enter the use for the condition.
Use the Rounding Category
and Rounding Unit
fields to control how the system rounds the resulting amounts for the bundle pricing charge.
For more information, see Rounding Numerical Values.
In the Tiers/Interval
field, you enter the rules the system is to check.
If the condition is to consist of one rule, enter Single Rule. You can then define one rule only per condition, which is checked by the system. If the rule applies, the system uses it (posts the relevant amount). Otherwise, the system ignores the rule.
If the condition is to consist of multiple rules, enter Multiple Rules. In the screen area Multiple Rules
, you can define multiple rules and amounts for each condition. The system checks and uses these in sequence.
If the rule applies, the system uses it and posts the relevant amount. The system does not check any additional rules.
If the first rule does not apply, the system checks the second rule. If the second rule does not apply, the system checks the next rule. The system continues to check until a rule applies. The system uses this rule and post the relevant amount.
If the conditions are to consist of multiple rules on which you also want to use tiered or interval calculation, enter the Complex Multiple Rule. Use the formula editor to define multiple rules for a condition that you want to use for tiered or interval calculation. Within a condition item, you can enter not only a fixed percentage rate but also define a tier or an interval. You can then display the tiers in two layers.
They system checks the rules in sequence and determines the first rule with corresponding tiers or intervals that applies. The system does not check any additional rules.
Enter an amount that is to be debited or credited if the rules applies.
If you enter an amount, enter a condition currency in the header data of the condition.
For more information about the dependencies of currencies in conditions, see Currencies in Conditions.
Note
You define whether the amount is a debit or credit in condition type Customizing.
Use the formula editor to define one or more rules by choosing
(Maintain Condition Rule
).
For more information about the formula editor choose Information
.
Note
You can also combine several requirements when defining a rule. To do this, you use Boolean Operators.
You can control how the system calculates the percentage of charges for bundle pricing calculation depending on the aggregated values of a turnover class.
If the Result Calculation Type
field is initial, then the Amount
field is available. Enter a fixed amount, such as EUR 3.50, which is to be debited or credited if the rules applies.
If you enter a value in the Result Calculation Type
field, the Percentage
field is available. Enter a percentage rate for the result calculation type. If the rule applies, the system uses the percentage rate of the result calculation type you have selected and debits or credits the amount.
You have defined an flexible bundle pricing charge.
You want to link the charge for a checking account to a percentage of the receipt of salary. In the Tiers/Interval
field, enter Multiple Rules and define the following rules:
If the receipt of salary (condition calculation type) is more than EUR 1,000, the charge is 1 % of the receipt of salary (result calculation type). The rule is as follows:
If the Receipt of Salary ≥ EUR 1,000.00 then the Charge = 1% of the Receipt of Salary.
If the receipt of salary (condition calculation type) is more than EUR 2,000, the charge is 0.8 % of the receipt of salary (result calculation type). The second rule is as follows:
If the Receipt of Salary ≥ EUR 2,000.00 then the Charge = 0.8% of the Receipt of Salary.
If the receipt of salary (condition calculation type) is more than EUR 3,000, the charge is 0.5 % of the receipt of salary (result calculation type). The third rule is as follows:
If the Receipt of Salary ≥ EUR 3,000.00 then the Charge = 0.5% of the Receipt of Salary.
