Procedure documentationEdit Bundle Pricing Charge Group Box

In the Bundle Pricing Charge group box and on the Calculation tab page, you edit the fields for a condition that belong to amount category 150010 Bundle Pricing Charge.

In this group box you define a condition for Bundle Pricing Calculation. You use this condition for a group of accounts with different bank products and different account holders that are, for example, mapped in a master contract to grant preferential prices for charges. The business activity of the entire group, for example the turnover, determines the charges.

To link price determination to certain conditions, you can define a rule which, when applied, results in a debit or credit memo.

Procedure

You can make the following settings:

  1. In the Condition Form field, you can enter the use for the condition.

  2. Use the Rounding Category and Rounding Unit fields to control how the system rounds the resulting amounts for the bundle pricing charge.

For more information, see Rounding Numerical Values.

  3. In the Tiers/Interval field, you enter the rules the system is to check.

    • If the condition is to consist of one rule, enter Single Rule. You can define one rule for each condition, which is checked by the system. If the rule applies, the system uses it (posts the relevant amount). Otherwise, the system ignores the rule.

    • If the condition is to consist of multiple rules, enter Multiple Rules. In the screen area Multiple Rules, you can define multiple rules and amounts for each condition. The system checks and uses these in sequence.

      • If the rule applies, the system uses it and posts the relevant amount. The system does not check any additional rules.

      • If the first rule does not apply, the system checks the second rule, and so on, until it finds a valid rule. The system uses this rule and posts the relevant amount.

  4. Enter an amount that is to be debited or credited if the rules apply.

If you enter an amount, enter a condition currency in the header data of the condition.

For more information about the dependencies of currencies in conditions, see Currencies in Conditions.

    Note Note

You define whether the amount is a debit or credit in condition type Customizing.

    End of the note.
  5. Use the formula editor to define one or more rules by choosing Maintain Condition Rule (Maintain Condition Rule).

For more information about the formula editor choose Information.

    Note Note

You can also combine several requirements when defining a rule. To do this, you use Boolean Operators.

    End of the note.

Result

You have defined a bundle pricing charge.

Example

You want to link the charge for a checking account to the average balance of a savings account. In the Tiers/Interval field, enter Multiple Rules and define the following rules:

  • If the average balance of the savings account is 1,000 EUR or more, there is a charge of 10.00 EUR which is debited from the customer's checking account. The first rule is as follows: If the average balance ≥ EUR 1,000.00 EUR the amount is EUR 10.00.

  • If the average balance of the savings account is 2,000 EUR or more, there is a charge of 5.00 EUR which is debited from the customer's checking account. The second rule is as follows: If the average balance ≥ EUR 2,000.00 EUR the amount is EUR 5.00.

  • If the average balance of the savings account is 3,000 EUR or more, there is a charge of 3.00 EUR which is debited from the customer's checking account. The third rule is as follows: If the average balance ≥ EUR 3,000.00 EUR the amount is EUR 3.00.
