Date Category 205010 – Value Date

You use this date category to define and check the shift of the value date in relation to the posting date of a payment item.

If a value does not exist for a payment item the system determines the value date when it posts the payment item.
If a value date exists for a payment item, the system checks whether it is within the tolerance range for the value date condition.

Note Note

A condition type with date category 205010 (Value Date) must at least have Transaction Category or Transaction Type as differentiation category.

If you use intraday interest calculation, the condition type must have Time as differentiation category.

The following fields are available when you are editing a condition with the date category 205010 (Value Date):

Value Date and Time Determination Category
Value Date Time
If you enter Fixed Value Date Time in the Determination Category for Value Date Time field, the system displays the Value Date Time field.
Number of Seconds (with +/- Sign)
If you enter Shift of Value Date Time in the Determination Category for Value Date Time field, the system displays the Number of Second (with +/- sign) field.
Tiered or Interval Calculation
Condition Item (Upper and Lower Limit)
If you enter the value Tiered Calculation in the Tiered or Interval Calculation field, the system displays the Condition Item (Upper and Lower Limit) field.
Amount Limit for Date or Amount Components
If you enter the value Tiered Calculation in the Tiered or Interval Calculation field, the system displays the Amount Limit for Date or Amount Category) field in the table control Tiered Calculation.
Number of the Condition Item
When you edit an individual condition that has value Selective Replacement as replacement category for which you can edit fields in different items, the system displays the Number of the Condition Item field in the Tiered Calculation table control.
