Function documentationChange to Contract-Managing Organizational Unit

When you create a contract for an account, card, card pool, or master contract, you can make subsequent changes to the assigned contract manager.

Note Note

You can change the contract manager assigned on the initial screen during contract creation on the corresponding tab page in the editing transaction only, not in the creation transaction.

End of the note.

Features

Contract Time

You can change the contract manager in the contract present and future.

Dependent Data

If you have created and saved a new contract, the system does not change the data determined from the contract-managing organizational unit assigned first. This data is the bank country, bank key, bank posting area, and contract calendar. This applies even if the organizational unit is changed.

Note Note

The new contract manager must be assigned to the same bank country and bank posting area as the old contract manager. The bank key and the default value for contract calendar 1 are allowed to differ.

End of the note.

Example Example

The external account ID BCA_DTE_ACCT_ID of an account in Account Management (FS-AM) comprises the bank country, bank key, and account number. If you change the contract manager, it is possible that the bank key used for the account ID during account creation differs from the bank key of the new contract manager.

End of the example.
Dependent Card Processes

You can change the contract manager in the card and its subsequent processes.

Note Note

Note the following:

  • Relationship between an account and one or more cards (account-card relationship):

You can change the contract-managing organizational unit in the account and in the participant cards. These are allowed to differ from each other.

  • Relationship between a card as a main contract and one or more participant accounts (Linked Accounts).

You can change the contract-managing organizational unit in the main account and in the participant accounts. These are allowed to differ from each other.

  • Relationship beween a card contract and multiple participant cards (Card Pool):

You can change the contract-managing organizational unit in the main account but not in the participant cards. Since the contract-managing organizational unit of the main contract and the participants are not allowed to differ, the system passes changes on to the participants.

  • Card exchange (for example, due to loss):

You can change the contract-managing organizational unit in the replacement card but not in the original card. Since the original card is not valid, the system automatically transfers the change to this card.

End of the note.
