Lock for a Specific Mandate (Mandate Lock)
  1. Select the mandate you wish to lock by copying this from the lower group box to the upper group box using drag and drop.

    Note Note

    If you double-click on an entry in the lower group box , the system displays the complete details for an individual mandate.

  2. Save your entries or change to another tab page.

    Note Note

    If the PLM document is saved with status 02 (active), the system activates the Mandate Locked checkbox in the account mandate. The mandate's status does not change.

Lock and Thus Create Mandate
  1. In the upper group box, choose the Create Mandate Lock pushbutton and then choose Lock Mandate.

  2. Enter the relevant details for the mandate.

  3. Save your entries or change to another tab page.

    Note Note

    Note that the system does not create the mandate until the PLM document is first saved withe the document status 02 (active). The system then activates the Mandate Locked checkbox in the account mandate. The mandate's current status is not changed.

Lock Payment Recipient, All Mandates (Global Lock)
  1. In the upper group box, choose the Create Mandate Lock pushbutton and then choose Lock All Mandates for a Creditor.

  2. Enter the creditor identifier of the payment recipient of debit memos for whom you want to create a lock for all mandates.

  3. Save your entries or change to another tab page.

    Note Note

    If the PLM document is saved with status 02 (active), the system activates the Mandate Locked checkbox in the existing mandates of an account with the locked payee as paying party. This mandate's status does not change.

If you try to create a PLM document to lock a mandate with the status canceled or completed, the system displays a warning.
